ABOUT BONEY MOUNTAIN PET SITTING

Hi, I’m Jennifer Downer, owner of Boney Mountain Pet Sitting. I have provided professional pet care since 2006. I named the business after Boney Mountain to reflect my connection to Newbury Park and the beautiful trails surrounding the mountain.

I provide in-home pet sitting in Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village. My experience includes working as a veterinary assistant at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital. I am comfortable administering medications, including insulin injections, and understand the importance of responding calmly and responsibly when a pet’s needs change.

Most of my clients are cats and dogs, including mixed-pet households, but I have also cared for fish, chickens, rabbits, and other animals. I know pets are beloved members of the family, and I tailor each visit to their routines, personalities, and individual needs.
